COMPETITION PROPOSAL
Yoga practice enables the practitioner to comprehend the impermanent and permanent reality, redefining his existence on planet earth. Putting him on the edge of the cliff, enabling him to have a panoramic view of the valley, we offer an isolated miradouro to connect back with his soul. The design approach aims to create an unobstructed yoga practice space (shala) at the core of the plot, without blocking its permeability. It is situated at the end of the cliff, floating above it, framing the breathtaking view of Vale de Moses.

The design approach aims to create an unobstructed yoga practice space (shala) at the core of the plot, without blocking its permeability. It is situated at the end of the cliff, floating above it, framing the breathtaking view of Vale de Moses. All the auxiliary spaces are placed behind it, in a distance, creating an L shaped volume. An open-air corridor connects and separates at the same time- the main and secondary functions. It creates a promenade in the forest, stimulating senses with different frames of view and different materialities.
