Renovation of rural house

The renovation of an existing warehouse and the addition of a new story transform it into the client’s countryside retreat. Situated in a mountain village in Arcadia, the stone warehouse undergoes internal insulation to withstand cold winters. The deliberate use of contrasting materials for the additional story accentuates the juxtaposition of old and new on the facades. Raw and low-cost materials for the new construction maintain an elegant and serene aesthetic that harmonizes with the surrounding context.
