This building, comprising four summerhouse residences, was designed with a focus on maximizing seaside views and ensuring privacy for its occupants. Located in a settlement close to the coast of the Arcadian prefecture, the plot’s natural inclination provides an ideal vantage point for upper-floor vistas.
Divided into two linear entities perpendicular to the plot’s slope, the residences’ roofs mimic the land’s inclination, blending seamlessly with the terrain. Each entity accommodates two residences, oriented towards the sea and featuring a mezzanine under the roof. To maintain privacy and prevent co-visibility, the volumes “slide” along the sunpath, while klostrá elements serve as sun filters and privacy screens. Textured plaster in earthy tones accentuates the volumes, integrating them harmoniously with the landscape. Surrounding olive trees and native vegetation create a Mediterranean garden, offering residents a tranquil space to reconnect with nature and unwind.
